Our Team
The Reaching Wider National Mentoring Team works across Wales to recruit and train current Higher Education (HE) and Further Education (FE) students to deliver one-to-one online mentoring. Our mentors support young people aged 14–25 to build confidence, raise aspirations, and progress in education.
Funded annually by Medr (formerly the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales – HEFCW), we work in partnership with the three regional Reaching Wider teams across:
- North and Mid Wales
- South West Wales
- South East Wales
Our team brings extensive experience in education, higher education, and project management, ensuring high-quality support for both mentors and mentees.
