“I found the Reaching Wider Mentoring Project interesting and useful. The support team was available throughout the whole process, meaning I also knew what to do in case I had any questions, and we were also provided with lots of training to give us guidance on how to mentor. I gained confidence through the project, as I had never done a mentoring scheme like this before. This confidence enabled me to apply to work on a summer camp in America, as I felt it gave me useful skills and experience with guiding young people.” – Mentor
