Primary

Our progressive, sustained and evaluated programme delivers unique learning, skills-building opportunities and experiences of higher education. Enabling learners to make informed decisions and opening pathways into further and higher education.

Contributing to the Four Purposes and linked to the Areas of Learning and Experience, throughout this repeat intervention programme, young people will have opportunities to:

  • gain knowledge, skills and understanding about higher education.
  • explore self, consider opportunities, and widen their horizons.

The programme compliments school provision and is delivered in partnership with schools, higher education institutions and other key partners where appropriate

All Reaching Wider Programmes:

  • Meet at least one of the RW Priorities: Transition, Aspiration, Attainment, Employability, Inclusivity.
  • Align to local provision across the Key Stages / Progression Steps: school, college, Careers Wales etc.
  • Are part of a repeat intervention model and have a clear ‘next step provision’: for learner pathways to HE.
  • Have a robust and consistent approach to evaluation, impact and reporting.
